Location and facilities
The family-run 4-star Macher's Landhotel is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The centre of St. Jakob is in the immediate vicinity and the Brunnalm ski area can be reached after approx. 2 km. A ski bus stops about 50 metres away.The facilities of the comfortable country hotel include a reception, luggage storage, lift, Wi-Fi, restaurant, café, terrace as well as a ski and boot room. Furthermore, free parking spaces are available.
The approx. 70 m² spa area (opening hours as per information on site) with Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and open-air terrace can be used free of charge.
A bowling alley is available free of charge (17:00 - 18:00).

The comfortable rooms have a bathroom with shower/wc and a heating chamber with warming red light and individually controllable, tanning solar lamp. They also have a TV, Wi-Fi, telephone and safe, hair dryer and some have a balcony.Board
The holiday price includes half board or half board plus, depending on the room type or board type booked. Half board includes a welcome drink, a regional breakfast buffet and a 4-course menu of your choice with salad buffet in the evening. - Access to the spa area is permitted from the age of 15.
- Please note that the ski area is only available to a limited extent at the end of the season. From 07/04 to 12/04/2026, only the Kals am Großglockner lifts and the Silian Hochpustertal ski centre will be in operation.
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
