Location

The 4-star Sportiv-Hotel Mittagskogel hotel invites its guests to experience local flair approx. 2,7 km away from the centre of St. Leonhard im Pitztal in the district of Mandarfen. You can access the ski area by taking the nearby Rifflseebahn gondola lift or the Pitztaler Gletscherexpress cable car approx. 500 m away. Ski buses stop right at the door.

Our friendly furnished hotel features various facilities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a common room, a lift, a dining room, a hotel restaurant, a café and a hotel bar. Drivers can use a parking lot and a parking garage (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Spa

Our 350 m² large wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul and enjoy a Finnish sauna, an organic sauna and a steam bath. Your accommodation features an indoor pool with a counter-current system as well as massage jets. Let the stress of everyday life dissipate in the relaxation room. Massages are available for a fee and help encourage an overall sense of well-being. Our staff provides guests with a bathrobe and bathing slippers on a loan basis.

Board

The half board plus catering plan includes a buffet style breakfast. In the afternoon (14:00 - 15:30) guests can treat themselves to various tasty titbits. At dinner, our cooks put together a 4-course menu of choice with a salad bar. In addition, culinary delights await you at the themed evening. A Christmas dinner is held at Christmas (24.12.).

Important notes

• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• When you purchase a 2-day Pitztaler Glacier & Rifflsee lift pass, you can also use your lift pass on one day within the validity period of the lift pass to use the lifts at the Kaunertal Glacier, Winterberg Fendels or the Hochzeiger ski area.
• When you purchase a 2-day Pitztaler Glacier & Rifflsee lift pass, you will receive a 2-day or 3-day lift pass on site (or a 3-day lift pass corresponds to a 3-day or 4-day lift pass, etc.), which allows you to use your lift pass flexibly within the validity period, e.g. on the day of arrival and departure instead of on two consecutive days.
• Please note that a processing fee of €2 is payable on site for small children skiing for free.
• Please note that the Rifflsee ski area is open from 14/12/2025 to 13/04/2026.
