Location

The rustic Alpengasthof Schneeberg chalet is situated approximately 3 km from the centre of Thiersee and forms part of the Alpengasthof Schneeberg, which is located about 100 m away. Access to the ski area is via the “Schneebergerlift” cable car, about 1 km away, or the “Haltjochlift” cable car, about 4.5 km away. Alpine skiers and snowboarders can reach the nearest run after just about 100 m. You can also enjoy sporting activities on the neighbouring Kala Alm toboggan run, which is open both during the day and under floodlights. The nearest shops are approximately 3 km away.

Important notes

• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• Both bookable chalet types are the same chalet, which can be booked with a different number of rooms. The Chalet, sleeps 8 and 2 additional bedrooms and a sauna are available for occupancy by up to 13 people.
• No lift pass voucher will be issued for small children aged 5 or under (at time of departure); they can ski for free when accompanied by their parents. If children in this age group use the lifts without their parents or attend a ski course on site that requires a lift pass, a children's lift pass must be purchased separately on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
• Please note that the ski area is only partially open at the start of the season. The Hinterthiersee lifts will not open until 20/12/2025.
