Location

The cosy chalet Alpengasthof Schneeberg belongs to the main house of the same name, about 350 m away Alpengasthof Schneeberg and is located about 3 km from the centre of Thiersee and the shopping facilities there. The Schneeberg-Mitterland family ski centre is right on the doorstep and the Tirolina ski area can be reached after about 4.5 km. The ski bus stops about 1.8 km away. The accommodation is close to the Kala Alm toboggan run, which can be used both during daylight and floodlight hours.

Facilities

In the main building of the rustic Alpengasthof Schneeberg you will find a restaurant, Wi-Fi, lounge, bar, parlour and a restaurant. There are free parking spaces subject to availability, a parking garage can be used for a fee (on request).

You will receive a "KufsteinerlandCard" guest card on site, which entitles you to numerous discounts within the region (information subject to change, see information on site).

Important notes

  • Both bookable chalet types are actually for the same exact chalet, but it can be booked with a different number of rooms. When occupied with up to 13 people, the 8-person chalet, as well as two further areas for sleeping, and a sauna, are available.
  • No lift pass voucher is issued for small children aged 5 or under; they ski for free when accompanied by their parents. If children in this age group use the lifts unaccompanied by their parents or attend a ski course on site for which a lift pass is required, a children's lift pass must be purchased separately on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
  • Please note that the ski resort will only be partially open at the start of the season. The Hinterthiersee lifts will not open until 20/12/2025.
