Ski area Feuerkogel

With the "Feuerkogel" lift pass, you have access to a family ski area (443 - 1,625 m) with 10 km of pistes and 9 lifts. On a high plateau with a 360-degree panoramic view of the Dachstein and the lake region, there is a small ski circus with runs for beginners and children as well as for more demanding skiers. A spacious practice slope and the children's area offer plenty of space for those first turns. For those who like it more adventurous, the unprepared, 6 km long downhill run is ideal. On the high plateau at an altitude of 1,650 m, a small adventure mountain village awaits guests with cosy places to stop for refreshments. A special highlight is night skiing with floodlights, music and an igloo bar - depending on the weather during the Christmas or semester holidays. In addition, the high plateau is the starting point for ski tours of every level of difficulty - from half an hour's ascent to several hours.

Après ski Feuerkogel

The best way to end the day in Traunkirchen is with a hearty meal in one of the traditional pubs. Wine connoisseurs should not miss a visit to the vinotheque "Greisslerei Traunkirchen". Besides Austrian wines you will also find and enjoy pasts, chutneys, marmalades and spirits. The Seaside Lounge invites you to review the day in a cosy atmosphere. For enjoying an active evening programme you have the possibility to use the natural toboggan run or the natural ice rink.

Snowpark Feuerkogel: Snowparks Dachstein-West

Unfortunately, there is no snowpark in the Feuerkogel ski area. Although, the Dachstein-West area has several - for young and old, for beginners and advanced skiers. In Gosau, for example, the little ones get their money's worth in the Kids' Cross Ötscherpark, where they can also find a snowcross track.

The snowpark Dachstein-West offers a jib line - among other things with boxes, rail and wallride -, one area for beginners and one for advanced riders. In both, different kickers, boxes and corners are set up. In the Rookiepark Russbach beginners make their first attempts on funny kickers and boxes and in the youngsters freestyle park in Annaberg jumps, rails and hills are available.
