Ski area Trins

The Trins ski area is ideal for making your first turns on skis or a snowboard. On 1 kilometre of pistes, beginners in particular can prepare themselves wonderfully for the more challenging descents in larger areas. Night skiing is also regularly possible here. Trins also offers a good infrastructure for families: two ski and snowboard schools offer courses - also for children. There is a children's playground with a sliding hill and a warm-up parlour. For ski tourers, the village is a good starting point for tours through the surrounding mountains.

The nearest large ski area in the Wipptal Valley is about 4 km away in Steinach: The Bergeralm ski arena there offers a children's ski area and a total of 28 kilometres of pistes consisting of 9 km of blue, 10 km of red and 9 km of black pistes.

If you want to hit the big slopes, you can quickly reach the ski areas of Skiworld Innsbruck, where you can choose between nine ski areas with a total of 300 kilometres of slopes. The Stubai Glacier, for example, offers 43 kilometres of pistes (1,750 - 3,210 m), is only around 30 km away and was named the top 1 family ski area by the ADAC Skiguide for the fourth time in 2013. The Axamer Lizum ski area (1,560 - 2,340 m) with its 40 kilometres of pistes (including ski routes) is also just 30 km away.

Après ski Trins

Trins is a typical, cosy Tyrolean farming village. That's why the focus here is less on partying and more on cosy evenings in the inn and sporting activities away from the piste. You can explore the unspoilt winter landscape of the valley on the numerous winter hiking trails, take a spin on the ice rink or go tobogganing on the natural toboggan run.

Snowpark Trins: Snowparks on the Stubai Glacier and in Axamer Lizum

There is no fun park in Trins itself. However, the parks in the ski areas on the Stubai Glacier and in Axamer Lizum are not far away. The Moreboards Stubai Zoo on the Gaisskarferner is divided into easy, medium and pro lines. Various kickers and boxes are complemented by rails, a wall ride and jib elements. The Axamer Lizum Snowpark is slightly smaller, but offers various boxes, two kickers up to 14 metres high, rails and a pipe.
