Location and facilities

The cosy, 3-star Hotel Widderstein is located in the Bregenzerwald, approx. 2.5 km from the resort centre of Schröcken. The ski area Warth-Schröcken, and a cross-country trail can be found approx. 4 km away. A ski bus stop is located conveniently, directly at the building.

The hotel, which comprises a traditional main building and modern side building (connected to each other), offers a reception, entrance area with fireplace, lift, Wi-Fi, parlour with integrated bar, restaurant, play room and a ski and boot room. A parking lot is available, if required.

Further, there is an indoor spa area with indoor pool (08:00 - 20:00), infrared cabin, jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath and sanarium (15:00 - 19:00), as well as a fitness room with modern machines and heated benches available to use for free. If booked and paid for locally, there are also massages available.

Rooms

The friendly-furnished rooms are all fitted with a bath or shower/wc, cable TV, Wi-Fi, sometimes a safe, hair dryer, and sometimes a balcony. The placement of the rooms in either the main building or side building is made depending on the type of room booked.

Board

The holiday price already includes half board consists of an extensive, regional breakfast buffet as well as a 4-course evening meal of your choice (vegetarian cuisine also available) with salad bar. The Christmas dinner (24/12) is included as well. All board servies will take place in the main building.

Important notes

  • When booking a 3-night stay, the included lift pass is valid for 2.5 days. This is valid from 11:30 on the day of arrival, meaning the half day is to be used on the day of arrival.
  • Starting from 1 Jan. 2019: Guests who arrive after 19:00 on the day of arrival without informing the accommodation well ahead of time must pay a late check-in fee of €50.
