Ski area Warth-Schröcken

With around 11 metres of fresh snow per year, the Warth-Schröcken ski resort is considered the snowiest in Europe – as reported by the British newspaper "Daily Mail". There are 62 kilometres of slopes and 15 lifts available here. As well as gentle family runs, experienced skiers and snowboarders will also find their ideal terrain around the Saloberkopf – whether on the resort’s black runs or in the extensive freeride terrain available here.

Beginners will find blue runs, for example, below the Karhornbahn or on the family runs from the Saloberkopf or the Jägeralp-Express. The little ones, on the other hand, can try their hand at Pauli’s Kinderland first. A dedicated fun slope has even been set up for families. Here they’ll find small obstacles, waves, kickers and boxes, as well as a cross-country course to let off steam.

Demanding winter sports enthusiasts are particularly drawn to the bumpy and steep ski routes below the Saloberjet and the Jägeralp-Express. Freeride enthusiasts, for example, appreciate the terrain at the Wannenkopf or the Gamsloch-Karhorn. The off-piste runs between Salober and Jägeralpe are also a real challenge. The Warth-Schröcken ski area has also long been renowned for its numerous ski touring opportunities.

The 3 Täler Pass lift pass is not only valid in Warth-Schröcken, but also gives you access to a total of 355 kilometres of slopes across 31 ski areas in the Bregenzerwald, the Großes Walsertal, the Tyrolean Lechtal, the Rheintal, the Klostertal and the Laternsertal! You also have the opportunity to purchase discounted day passes for the “Ski Arlberg” ski region. The Warth village cable car provides direct access to the Ski Arlberg ski area. Winter sports enthusiasts can start their day on the slopes stress-free, without a car or ski bus, from any accommodation in the centre of Warth using the 8-seater gondola lift. Alternatively, you can easily reach the Lech Zürs ski area via the modern 10-seater "Auenfeldjet" gondola lift.

Après ski Warth-Schröcken

After a day on the piste, people in Warth-Schröcken like to stop off right at the foot of the slopes. For example, in the S1 Ski Lounge on the Salober or in the Steffisalp umbrella bar. If you want to continue partying in the evening, the Alpen Lounge & Cocktail Bar, Oscar's Cocktail Bar or the Best of Pub are the places to be. Of course, there are also numerous inns and restaurants where you can spend a cosy evening with good food.

Away from the pistes, however, the sporty leisure fun in Warth-Schröcken doesn't stop there. For example, there is the "Von der Höhi" toboggan run, where you can even be pulled up the mountain by tractor twice a week. The more daring can try out the Flying Fox runs, where you can fly 500 metres through the air - across the border between Vorarlberg and Tyrol. Taster courses in ice climbing are also on offer. Those who prefer a quieter pace can explore the 20 kilometres of winter hiking trails or take part in a snowshoe hiking tour on the Hochtannberg Pass, which connects the two villages. A guided evening hike is particularly romantic.

Snowpark Warth-Schröcken: Funslope Steffisalp

The Steffisalp Funslope offers fun for all ages on two lines. Numerous waves, steep turns, fun boxes and a mighty snail provide variety. Both beginners and experienced freeriders will get their money's worth here. Another highlight is the Skimovie run at the Wannenkopf chair lift. Here, the fast descent is captured on camera and you receive a personalised video afterwards. There is also the Funcross Karhorn, which also provides adrenaline kicks and plenty of action.
