Ski holidays Weerberg - Holidays with impressive panorama views!
Weerberg
Weerberg is located 900 metres high on a plateau above the Inntal valley, away from the heavy traffic routes. It therefore offers an impressive panoramic view of the Karwendel and Rofan mountains in the north, the Kellerjoch in the east and also of Innsbruck, which is approx. 25 km away. A day trip to the beautiful city which hosted the 1964 and 1976 Olympics is a must! A 30 km journey in the opposite direction leads you to the wonderful Zillertal and its almost endless choice of pistes. So, due to its central location, Weerberg is an ideal base for all kinds of excursions. Besides, with a stretch of 14 km, Weerberg is also one of the longest villages in Austria.Ski Region Innsbruck
The ski region around Tyrol's capital Innsbruck is surrounded by a stunningly beautiful mountain backdrop. Innsbruck offers the unique opportunity to spend your holiday in one of Europe's most beautiful cities and yet be almost "in the middle of the ski area" – an ideal destination for anyone who wants to combine their skiing holiday with culture! As the venue for the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics, the ski resorts enjoy a first-class international reputation. In addition to a multitude of sights in Innsbruck itself, the surrounding area also has a lot to offer. For example, the pilgrimage church of St. Peter and St. Paul is a special feature with its architecture and acoustics. An alternative destination is Ambras Castle, which is located above Innsbruck and is one of the most famous sights in the provincial capital.Travel Weerberg
