Ski area Weißbriach

Manageable and quiet are the 4 km of pistes in the ski area Weißbriach. The tow lifts Hammerboden, Enzianboden and Grabisch take you to the top of the runs, which present themselves lovely and wide and therefore are ideal for beginners and pleasure skiers. The rather flat terrain in the lower ski area is well suited for beginners. Newbies on skis and snowboard can get going here in a slower and comfortable manner. The little ones can practise their first swings on the practise run, which is accessible via a magic carpet.

If you find you've ridden enough on these runs, another 18 km away you can find the larger ski areas, where unlimited skiing fun awaits you. A free shuttle bus can take you in only a few minutes to the Millennium-Express in Hermagor. The domed lift there will bring you to the sizeable Nassfeld-Presseggor See ski area, with a total of 110 km of piste.

Après ski Weißbriach

Weißbriach stands for pure relaxation. Here, you're away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, and you can finally enjoy the evening hours in quiet with the family, or even as a pair. Enjoy the culinary amenities of the area and head over to the Café Alte Post, where you can meet up with others every afternoon for a little coffee with fresh cakes and pies. A pleasant pit stop to make would be at the Schwarzbach hut at the Wießbriach lift valley station. In the same building, you'll also find the ski school and ski rental shop.

In the evenings, the numerous inns in the resort serve up typical resort specialities, along with international dishes- there's something for everyone! After a day on the piste, when you're most hungry, check out the Come Bäck, where culinary themed weeks with burgers, fish dishes, and the like are served. Proper apres ski parties begin at the Berggeist hut. Every Wednesday, a "Hüttenzauber" (literally "hut magic") party is held, where music and dancing are sure to be found.

Snowpark Weißbriach: Snowpark

Currently in Weißbriach, there is no snowpark to be found. Instead, head over to Nassfeld-Pressegger Lake, where freestylers will find exactly what they're looking for: On the Gartnerkofel, and directly accessible via the Warschiger Alm lift, lies the Nassfeld snowpark, a playground for all freestylers. Variation is not lost here, what with a Beginner Line, on which beginners can test out their first tricks on curved banks and bumps, a rail line with different boxes, a flat rail, wallride, and even a kicker line with four different kickers with tables from up to 14 m.

Furthermore, the snowpark has a funslope, with waves, steep curves, and jibs, among other features. A speed route, with time measurement, and a ski movie route which allows you to record your runs, are also worth checking out.
