Location

The comfortable Bergchalet Haflingerherz chalet is situated approximately 3 km from the centre of Wenns at an altitude of around 1,300 m. Access to the ski area is via the "Hochzeigerbahn" cable car, which is about 12 km away. Cross-country skiing is available on the network of trails around 8 km away. You can also enjoy sporting activities on the toboggan run, approximately 12 km from the chalet. Ski buses stop around 3 km away. The nearest shops are approximately 3 km away.

Facilities

The accommodation, built in 2020, features Wi-Fi. You can store your winter sports equipment in the "Hochzeiger" public ski storage facility. There are parking spaces on site and a charging station for electric cars (subject to a fee) – subject to availability.

Children

High chairs and cots are included (on request/subject to availability).

Entertainment

For leisure activities, there is an adjoining farm at the accommodation where around 50 animals live (e.g. dairy cows, miniature ponies and Haflinger horses).

Important notes

• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• Snow chains: mandatory
• No lift pass voucher will be issued for children aged 9 or under (at time of departure). Children aged 5 or under (at time of departure) will receive a free lift pass on site. Children aged 6 to 9 (at time of departure) will receive a Bambini Free Pass on site provided that a parent has booked an equivalent lift pass, allowing them to ski for free when accompanied by their parents (max. 1 Bambini Free Pass per parent).
• If you purchase a 2-day Hochzeiger lift pass, you can also use your lift pass on one day within its validity period to access the lifts on the Pitztal Glacier or the Rifflsee lifts (not valid for free children’s lift passes; a lift pass may need to be purchased on site – see information on site).
• If you have booked a Hochzeiger lift pass, this can be collected and used from 14:00 on the day before the first day of validity.
• If you have booked equipment through us, the ski hire shop is located in Jerzens (approx. 6 km away).
