Location

The family-friendly 4-star Alpina Resort hotel is situated directly in the centre of Wenns. The Hochzeiger cable car, which is approx. 6 km away, will take you to the ski area. Cross-country skiing trails can be reached within about 6 km. Ski buses stop within about 100 m.

Facilities

The hotel features various facilities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a hotel restaurant and a hotel bar. Outdoors, hotel guests can find a terrace. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski storage room. Drivers can use a parking lot - subject to availability.

Spa

The 150 m² large wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul. Your accommodation features a 40 m² large indoor pool. When it’s time to rest and recharge, visit a Finnish sauna, an organic sauna, a steam bath and an infrared cabin. Let the stress of everyday life dissipate in the relaxation room. Beauty treatments as well as massages are available for a fee. Our staff provides guests with a bathrobe (for a fee) on a loan basis.

Children

The children’s playroom offers age-appropriate entertainment for our younger guests. High chairs and cots are available (on request/subject to availability). For stays of 3 nights or more, children aged between 3 and 5 receive a free children’s ski course (see information on site).

Entertainment

On site, you can enjoy various leisure activities such as billiards (for a fee) and kicker (for a fee). The accommodation also offers a range of sporting facilities, including a fitness room and table tennis. Twice a week, the hotel organises a free guided tour focusing on the nature park (see information on site). As guests of the house, you will also receive one free entry per stay to the Kaunergrat Nature Park Centre on the Piller.

Board

The half board plus catering plan includes a buffet style breakfast. Lunch (12:00 - 13:00) features a selection of snacks with a soup. In the afternoon (16:00 - 17:00) guests can treat themselves to Jause (a traditional cold snack). At dinner, our cooks put together a 4-course menu with a salad bar. On request, we also serve vegetarian alternatives.

Important notes

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• No lift pass voucher will be issued for children aged 9 or under (at time of departure). Children aged 5 or under (at time of departure) will receive a free lift pass on site. Children aged 6 to 9 (at time of departure) will receive a Bambini free pass on site, provided that a parent has booked an equivalent lift pass, allowing them to ski for free when accompanied by their parents (maximum 1 Bambini free pass per parent).
• If you purchase a 2-day Hochzeiger lift pass or longer, you can also use your lift pass on one day within its validity period to access the lifts on the Pitztal Glacier or the Rifflsee lifts (not valid for free children’s lift passes; a lift pass may need to be purchased on site – see information on site).
• If you have booked equipment through us, the ski hire shop is located in Jerzens (approx. 6 km away)
