Location and facilities

The traditional, 3-star Hotel Das Rössl is located in the centre of Windischgarsten. The ski bus stops approx. 70 m from the building and takes you easily to the ski areas Wurzeralm (approx. 12 km) and Hinterstoder (approx. 17 km). Access to a cross-country trail can be found around 500 m from the hotel.

The well-run hotel is furnished with a reception, Wi-Fi, rustic lounge, parlour and hotel bar, ski cellar and free-of-charge parking spaces are also available.

When staying for 7 nights, one torch-lit hike, one nine-pin bowling evening and one-time free entry to the indoor pool in Windischgarsten are included.

On Carnival Saturday and Shrove Tuesday, there is a costume party in the hotel.

Rooms

The cosily furnished rooms were renovated in 2019 and all have a bath or shower/wc (partly separate), cable TV, Wi-Fi safe, as well as a sitting corner.

Board

Half board PLUS is already included in the holiday price and comprises a welcome drink, a rich breakfast buffet, coffee and cake in the afternoon (14:00 - 16:00), and in the evenings there is a 3-course menu with choice of main dish and a salad buffet available. For the little ones, there a special children's menus available.
