Cross-country Rumburk
The gentle hills of the Lusatian Mountains are perfect for cross-country skiing. A beautiful 7 km circuit trail runs along Jedlová (Tannenberg) nearby Tollenstein. The trail is groomed on a regular basis. Another beautiful region for Nordic skiing is near Polevsko in the Nový Bor district, approx. 26 km south of Rumburk. About 15 km of cross-country tracks are prepared here, of which a 3 km stretch is also designed for skating.
Further great cross-country skiing possibilities are offered in the Giant Mountains, around Teufelsberg mountain near Harrachov, as well as on Schneekoppe mountain nearby Spindler's Mill. Here you will find more than 100 km of cross-country ski trails and there is a connection the Giant Mountains Magistral, i.e. the main ski trail.
