The cross-country skiing area around Samoëns and its listed accommodation extends over two levels. The first is in the valley along the Giffre and leads to Fer à Cheval and the second is on the Joux Plane at an altitude of 1,700 metres. Cross-country skiers are spoilt for choice in both areas, with a total of 69 kilometres of trails available. The cross-country trails on the Col de Joux Plane are particularly beautiful. Nordic skiing enthusiasts should definitely take a break or two on the cross-country trails here, get out their smartphone and document the unique panoramic view of Mont Blanc. At altitude, winter sports enthusiasts have 30 kilometres of cross-country trails at their disposal.

The cross-country skiing area around Morillon extends over three levels: in the valley along the Giffre, at Fer à Cheval and at Col de Joux Plane at an altitude of 1,700 metres. In total, cross-country skiers can choose from more than 70 kilometres of trails. The cross-country trails at Col de Joux Plane are particularly beautiful, from where you can enjoy the view of Mont Blanc. Around 30 kilometres are available to you there.

The free ski bus takes you from Les Carroz d'Arâches to the nearby cross-country trails at 1,844 m on the Col de Pierre Carrée. The highest and most reliable cross-country trails in the Alps await you. Here you can enjoy the mountain panorama in wonderful peace and quiet. Those looking for a little more variety can explore a further 35 kilometres of trails in Agy, approx. 12 km from Les Carroz d'Arâches.

A total of 5 km in Flaine is ideal for experts. The network of trails at 1,844 metres on the Col de Pierre Carrée is record-breaking, as the highest and most reliable cross-country trails in the Alps await you. Here you can enjoy the panorama in marvellous peace and quiet.
