More than 90 cross-country trails are spread across two mountain plateaus in La Clusaz - the Confins Plateau (1,450 metres) with views of Lake Confins and the Beauregard Plateau (1,600 metres) with panoramic views of the Aravis massif and Mont Blanc. All are suitable for both classic-style and skating-style skiing.
The Confins Plateau, with around 50 kilometres of trails, hosted World Cup competitions from 1987 to 2013. A black trail connects it to the Le Grand Bornand cross-country ski trail network. La Clusaz also takes care of the next generation: in addition to a cross-country skiing school, there is also a Nordic Ski Park for the little ones. Here they are introduced to the sport in a playful way.
