Location

The family-run 3-star Alpenhotel Bergzauber is located in Oberau. The centre of Berchtesgaden is around 7 km away, the Zinkenlifte ski area is approximately 3 km away, and the Rossfeld ski area is about 6 km away. There is a public bus stop (not a ski bus) right outside the hotel.

Facilities

This stylish hotel features a reception, Wi-Fi, a breakfast room, a restaurant, the Bergstadl Bar with après-ski facilities, as well as a ski room. There is also free parking, subject to availability.

In addition, a Finnish sauna, an infrared cabin and a relaxation room are available for a fee. Use of these facilities is included for stays of seven nights or more.

Board

The half-board included in the holiday price consists of a breakfast buffet and a 3-course menu of your choice in the evening. Dinner is not served on Wednesdays (day off).

Important notes

  • There is no dinner on Wednesdays; on that day, only breakfast is included.
  • Skiing on the Jenner will no longer be possible as of the 24/25 season. Nevertheless, use of the Jennerbahn cable car is included in the lift pass for pedestrians, tobogganists and winter hikers.
  • The RVO public bus to the Rossfeld ski area can be used free of charge as part of the obligatory guest card. Provided that a lift pass is presented, no toll is charged for this.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
