Location and facilities

The family-run, 3-star Alpine Hotel Berchtesgaden is located approx. 2 km from the ski area Zinken and approx. 5 km from the ski area Rossfeld. You can reach the resort centre of Berchtesgaden within approx. 6 km.

The hotel is furnished in a modern Alpine style and its facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi, lounge area, breakfast room, bar as well as a ski room. In addition, there are free parking spaces and a charging station for electric cars (for a fee) at the hotel, subject to availability.

Upon arrival, you will receive a guest card, which grants you access to numerous discounts for museums or various events. The card also allows you to use almost all buses and trains in the Berchtesgaden-Königssee tourism region for free (services subject to change).

As a guest of the accommodation, you will receive a 10% discount on equipment hire at the in-house ski school/ski hire shop (as per info in resort).

Important notes

  • As of the 24/25 season, skiing on the Jenner will no longer be possible. However, use of the Jennerbahn cable car is included in the lift pass for pedestrians, tobogganists and winter hikers.
  • The RVO public bus to the Rossfeld ski area can be used free of charge as part of the obligatory guest card. If a lift pass is presented, there is no toll charge.
