Location and facilities

The family-friendly Youth hostel Berchtesgaden lies in the municipality of Bischofswiesen, approx. 2 km from the resort centre of Berchtesgaden. The bus stop (RVO bus) can be reached after about 800 m and the Obersalzberg and Jenner ski areas can be reached in approx. 5 and 6 km, respectively.

The modern youth hostel is composed of two buildings, the Haus Jenner and the Haus Untersberg. Recently, the hostel was reconstructed as the first design youth hostels in Germany. Facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi in public areas (incl.), lounge, breakfast room, disco, ski room and a play room. Moreover, table tennis, table football, a drawing corner and board game/book rental are also available. Free parking spaces can be found at the accommodation.

Rooms

the cosy rooms comprise of a double bed and bunk beds, as well as a shower/wc. Allocation takes place in the Haus Untersberg.

Board

The already included half board contains a rich breakfast buffet and an evening meal in the form of a buffet or 4-course menu.
