The family-run 4-star Parkhotel Sonnenhof is approx. 700 m from the centre of Oberammergau. Access to the ski area is possible via the "Kreuzeckbahn" lift, which is around 23.7 km away. Cross-country skiing is possible on the nearby network of trails. Oberammergau train station is around 850 metres away.Facilities

In the evening, you will be served a 4-course menu or a themed buffet where you can indulge in culinary delights. At Christmas there is a Christmas party with mulled wine and biscuits followed by a 4-course candlelight dinner. On New Year's Eve there is a 6-course New Year's Eve menu. A midnight snack including goulash soup and white sausages on New Year's Eve (31 December) rounds off the special culinary offer at the end of the year. Guests of the house receive a "cocktail voucher" per person and stay (from 7 nights stay, no cash redemption, non-transferable). In the periods 05.12.-21.12.2025, 11.01.-01.02.2026 & 01.03.-15.03.2026, one table drink per person is also included. Lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives are also available on request.
