There is surely nothing to moan about when looking at the offer of cross-country track in this region. The "DSV Nordic aktiv Zentrum" in Oberstaufen offers 12 tracks with approx. 67 km length in total.
Ideal for beginners is for instance the Kalzhof trail, which covers 2 km and runs through the beautiful Allgäu landscape. Due to the floodlight installations, you can even use the trails until into the evening hours. The sporty highlight in this area surely is the 50 km long Super-track which runs from the Alpsee lake to Waldsee - a real must for all experienced skiers with good stamina. It offers beautiful views of the Nagelfluh mountain range and the peaks of the Bergenz Forest - an unforgettable cross-country experience!
