Location

The cosy 3-star Hotel Georgenhof is situated in a quiet south-facing location, approx. 2 km from the centre of Berchtesgaden and approx. 4 km from the centre of Schönau am Königssee. The Obersalzberg ski area is around 6 km away. The cross-country ski trail is approx. 1 km away and the toboggan run is approx. 2 km away.

Facilities

The accommodation facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi, restaurant and a breakfast room and lounge. In addition to a sauna and a ski room, the accommodation also has free parking spaces (subject to availability). A charging station for electric cars can be used for a fee.

The holiday price includes a guest card, which entitles you to a number of discounts in the region (see information on site, information subject to change).

The hotelier is a member of the "climate-friendly hosts" in Schönau am Königssee and emphasises, for example, sustainability, regionality and energy efficiency (100% green electricity) in his own business.

Board

Half board is included in the holiday price. There is a breakfast buffet in the morning and a 3-course menu of your choice in the evening. Alternative meals for intolerances can be requested in advance (gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan).

Important notes

  • From the 24/25 season, skiing on the Jenner will no longer be possible. However, use of the Jennerbahn cable car is included in the lift pass for pedestrians, tobogganists and winter hikers.
  • The RVO bus to the Rossfeld ski area can be used free of charge as part of the obligatory guest card. If a lift pass is presented, there is no toll charge.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
