Location

The modern 3-star hotel ‘Der schöne Asten – Resort Winterberg’ is situated in the Altastenberg district, approx. 6 km from the centre of Winterberg. Access to the ski area is via the “Sesselbahn Kappe” chair lift, some 4 km away, or the “Ettelsberg-Seilbahn” cable car, some 3.3 km away. The nearest shops are approx. 6 km away.

Facilities

The accommodation is divided into a main building and an annexe, which are separate from one another and approx. 100 metres apart. The hotel’s facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi, a lift, a breakfast room, an on-site restaurant, a parlour, a hotel bar and a conservatory. There is a terrace outside. On site, there are parking spaces available, subject to availability.

Spa

The spa area, covering approx. 1,000 m², is the perfect place to relax. Here you will also find a sauna, a Finnish sauna, a hot tub and a steam bath. Inside your accommodation, there is an indoor pool measuring around 290 m². Beauty treatments and massages are available for a fee. Bathrobes (for hire) and slippers (for a fee) are available on site.

Children

The children’s playroom, which measures approx. 80 m², offers age-appropriate entertainment for our younger guests. Cot beds are available for an additional charge; high chairs are included (on request/subject to availability).

Entertainment

For leisure activities, the accommodation offers billiards (for a fee) and a kicker (for a fee). In addition, the accommodation offers various sports facilities, such as a fitness room (approx. 75 m²) and table tennis (for a fee).

Board

When booking rooms on a half-board basis, meals include a generous breakfast buffet. In the evening, you will be served a four-course meal or, at the chef’s discretion, you may help yourself to the buffet. Gluten-free alternatives are also available on request.
