Location and facilities
The quiet 3 star Hotel Wartburg lies in the a natural setting, on the approx. 700 m high Saukopf, approx. 8.5 km away from the centre of Winterberg and the bordering ski area. A bus stop can be reaches in about 200 m. The comfortable hotel is furnished with a reception with welcome area and luggage depot, lift, Wi-Fi (incl.), safe (incl.), lounge, reading room, TV room, parlour with hotel bar, breakfast room, dining room, restaurant, children's play room and play area as well as a ski and boot room.In the approx. 500m² wellness area, you can make use of the indoor pool, relaxation room and sauna for free, as well as the steam bath, Finnish sauna, organic sauna, infrared cabins, solarium, cosmetic treatmens (upon appointment) and massages for a fee. Free parking spaces, as well as a chargable parking garage, are available to use at the accommodation as well.
Additionally, you receive the SauerlandCard for free, of which grants you access to diverse free services and redictions on attractive leisure activities in the region, as well as free use of the bus and train.
