Ski area Val d'Isarco

The lift pass "Eisacktal" offers fun on the pistes and a lot of variety in the ski areas Brixen-Plose and Gitschberg-Jochtal with a total of 95 km of pistes. The local ski mountain, the Plose, is only approx. 7 km from Brixen, where you can ski on altitudes from 1,060 - 2,505 m while enjoying a wonderful view of the dolomites. The comprehensive ski area with altogether 9 lifts and 43 km of pistes is perfectly suited for family. Children meet up at the practise hill at Randötsch lift or in the children's land, while adults can let off steam on the longest prepared piste in South Tyrol, the Trametsch piste. With a length of 9 km, it passes a difference in altitude of more than 1,400 m. Apart from great slopes and quaint mountain huts, winter sports fans can look forward to a lot of fun at the Plose. Freestylers and snowboarders can have fun in the Funpark Plose, quick skiers can find out how fast they can get at the Plose Speed Check. The speed measuring system is located opposite the Schönboden lift's mountain station. The neighbouring ski area Gitschberg-Jochtal offers 16 lifts and approx. 52 km of family friendly pistes, as well as a 360° panoramic platform on the Gitschberg offering a view of many 3,000 m high peaks.

The upgrade to the "Dolomiti Superski" lift pass gives you access to additional 12 ski areas and a total of approx. 1,200 km of piste (see ski region).

Après ski Brixen

For ending a successful day on the piste in a grand manner, you will find many possibilities to do so in Brixen. Away from the pistes there are some huts and après ski bars, which invite you to spend the evening in a cosy corner. The numerous restaurants and pubs offer besides a lovely cosy atmosphere also delicious food specialities. Gourmets should definitively drop by the café "Pupp", which offers a bakery where 9 specialists create over 100 different cakes and sweets every day.

More active alternatives can be found in winter hikes, guided snowshoe hikes and tobogganing. The "RudiRun" is the longest natural toboggan run in South Tyrol, with 10.5 km length. On the other hand, relaxation can be found in the "Acquarena" in Brixen, where there are all kinds of water, spa and fitness activities available, spread over 12,000 m² - of this the sauna area already occupies 1,200 m²!

Snowpark: Plose Brixen

Soaring into the ski in front of the breathtaking panorama of the Dolomites - who has never dreamt of this? Make this your reality on the ski mountain Plose by visiting the fun park Plose! Next to the Schönboden piste there are a great variety of obstacles, ideal for all levels of skill, which will captivate everyone's interest.

The fun park is divided into an easy and pro line, as well as a jib garden with various rails. Freestylers let loose on various boxes in the fun park Plose and will also find an area for "air time": 10 different jumps with tables ranging between 2 and 16 m are available for you. Here you can give free rein to your creativity at dizzying heights.

Those who would like to take a break or simply watch other riders do their tricks can use the "chill area"! Furthermore, an old cable car with sound system offers a great atmosphere and the perfect end to your day.
