Ski area Cortina d'Ampezzo
With the "Cortina d'Ampezzo" lift pass, the ski area of the 1956 Winter Olympics offers the right piste fun for every taste on 120 kilometres of piste at an altitude of 1,217 - 2,828 m.
With the unique "Olympia" ski tour, for example, you can reach all the peaks and highlights of the 1956 Olympic alpine skiing competitions. Here, unforgettable panoramic views and descents open up for pure skiing pleasure. Between bizarre rocks, you can enjoy the fast piste on the Tofana and the Olympia con Pomedes downhill run to Rumerlo. The most varied pistes can be found under the Tofana at Pocol and between Col Druscie, Pomedes and Ra Valles, with easy ski meadows and steeper descents. For those who like it more challenging, we recommend the steep gully under the wild Forcella Staunies at the Cristallo lifts.
For snowboarders, there is a snow park at the Socrepes valley station with a quarter-pipe, tables, slides, jumps, half-pipe and boardercross.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To use the ski areas, you must have valid liability insurance that covers damage or injury to third parties. This can also be taken out on site for individual days. Skiing while intoxicated (0.5 per mille or higher BAC) is prohibited and is punishable by heavy fines. To reduce the risk of injury, wearing a helmet is compulsory for everyone (regardless of age, on all ski runs, in snow parks and on toboggan runs). Anyone who does not comply with the helmet requirement will be fined or banned from the slopes.
