Location

The cosy 3-star superior Dolomites Hotel Union is situated approximately 1.4 km from the centre of Dobbiaco. Access to the ski area is available via a cable car around 5 km away or another cable car around 9 km away. For beginners, there is a practice lift approximately 800 m from the hotel. Cross-country skiing opportunities are available on the nearby network of trails. You can also enjoy sporting activities on the toboggan run, approximately 4.5 km from the hotel. Ski buses stop around 50 m away. Toblach railway station is about 150 m away. A shuttle service runs to the lift (for a fee).

There is a parking garage on site (for a fee) and a charging station for electric cars (for a fee) – subject to availability.

Spa

The approx. 500 m² spa area with indoor pool and panoramic views invites you to relax. Here you will also find a Finnish sauna, a hot tub, a Turkish steam bath, an experience shower and an infrared cabin (for a fee). You can also relax in the relaxation room. The solarium is also available for a fee.

Children

Cots are available for an additional charge; high chairs are included (on request/subject to availability).

Entertainment

The accommodation offers various sports facilities, such as a gym and an indoor tennis court, with or without a coach (on request and subject to a fee). Per room and stay, you can use the indoor tennis court for one hour free of charge, including rackets and balls (valid for stays of 4 nights or more, booking required, between 08:00 and 12:00 only).

Board

When booking rooms on a half-board basis, meals include a generous breakfast buffet and a choice between a traditional, Mediterranean or vegetarian three-course dinner (excluding themed evenings), served with a salad, vegetable and starter buffet. A Christmas dinner is served on Christmas Day, and a New Year’s Eve dinner on New Year’s Eve. Guests receive one drink voucher per person per stay for a glass of mulled wine (for stays of 4 nights or more; not redeemable for cash; non-transferable). Lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives are also available on request.

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.

• The accommodation has the GSTC certificate (Global Sustainable Tourism Council), which certifies environmentally friendly and sustainable operations. For example, employees are continuously trained and the energy requirements are largely covered by emission-free solar systems, solar panels and district heating. The hotel is also certified as a cross-country skiing hotel and has a regionality award as well as AIC certification for the preparation of gluten-free meals.
• No lift pass vouchers are issued for children aged 7 or under (at time of departure). For each adult lift pass purchased, one accompanying child in this age group will receive a free ticket for use of the lift facilities on site (ID required).
