Cross-country Lavarone
Information on cross-country skiing
35 km Cross-country trails (in km):
The high-plateau around Lavarone and Folgaria are ideal for extensive and challenging cross-country ski tours. In total, the region offers approx. 90 km of trails of mostly intermediate level.
On this wonderful terrain, cross-country skiers can choose from three different cross-country centres: the famous Millegrobbe on the high-plateau of Lavarone (35 km), the Passo Coe in Folgaria (45 km) and the Forte Cherle on the high-plateau of Folgaria (20 km). Access to all three areas is granted via the Circuito Nordic Skipass, which is valid in 11 different cross-country areas in Trentino. Here, you have plenty of possibilities to enjoy nature at its best. Skiers with good stamina are recommended to try the 35 km long Millegrobbe trail in Lavarone, of which 15 km can also be used in the evenings under floodlights. On the border between the high-plateaus of Veneto and Trentino, the annual Millegrobbe race takes place in March, which is also know as one of the most important Nordic Championships in Europe.
