Ski area Arabba - Marmolada

The Arabba-Marmolada ski area with its 63 kilometres of piste offers a variety of descents for beginners and advanced skiers and is one of the most popular ski areas in the Dolomiti Superski network. Due to its altitude of 1,446 to around 3,269 metres, it is considered to be particularly reliable of snow.

With the "Arabba-Marmolada" lift pass, winter sports enthusiasts can expect a true skiing paradise at the foot of the so-called "Queen of the Dolomites". A highlight is the 12 km long dream run "Bellunese", which starts at an altitude of 3,269 metres and extends over varied slopes to Malga Ciapela. The "Dolomiti Superski" extension offers winter sports enthusiasts one of the largest ski areas in the world with 1,200 km of pistes, 450 lift systems and 30 snow parks. On the famous "Sellaronda", you can even cross four Dolomite passes over 40 kilometres without having to take off your skis. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains are guaranteed!

Beginners won't be left out either, thanks to the many kilometres of blue runs. The gentler slopes are perfect for skiers and snowboarders to practise on. In a separate area of the ski schools, the youngest children can get used to skiing without being disturbed.

In the Arabba Superpark, freestylers have countless opportunities with tables, kickers, rails and boxes. A fun slope also ensures plenty of fun on the slopes.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To use the ski areas, you must have valid liability insurance that covers damage or injury to third parties. This can also be taken out on site for individual days. Skiing while intoxicated (0.5 per mille or higher BAC) is prohibited and is punishable by heavy fines. To reduce the risk of injury, wearing a helmet is compulsory for everyone (regardless of age, on all ski runs, in snow parks and on toboggan runs). Anyone who does not comply with the helmet requirement will be fined or banned from the slopes.

Après ski Arabba - Marmolada

Large après-ski bars and lively parties aren't exactly what Malga Ciapela is known for. This quiet ski resort is better suited to a relaxing afternoon in the hotel's spa or a leisurely winter stroll through the countryside. Those who still want to get active can burn off some energy with activities such as snowshoeing or ice climbing in the "Serrai di Sottoguda" natural gorge.

If you're still in the mood for a party after a day on the slopes, you can celebrate at the "Peter" après-ski bar in Arabba until 19:00. Party-goers will also find a range of bars and clubs with great music and a lively atmosphere in the famous World Cup town of Cortina d'Ampezzo, which is about an hour's drive away.

Snowpark Arabba - Marmolada: Arabba Superpark

Freestylers can let off steam in the Arabba Superpark near the Le Pale chair lift. Numerous tables, kickers, rails and boxes provide variety over a length of 500 metres. A chill-out area with its own shapers and music is the perfect place to relax in between runs.

The Funslope Arabba, which can also be reached via the Le Pale chair lift, adds to the fun on the slopes with steep turns, small jumps, tunnels, bridges and "snails".
