Information on cross-country skiing

50 km Cross-country trails (in km):

Cross-country fans will definitely get their money's worth in the Fassatal. Discover a total of approx. 50 km of trails, all of which vary from easy to challenging levels of difficulty. The popular "Marcialonga" functions as both a classic cross-country trail as well as a marathon trail and runs over 70 km, from the Fassatal into the Fleimstal. Wide routes of the Marcialonga trail can also be supplied with snow from snow canons, so that your snowy expedition does not have to be disturbed. The 4.5 km long Ciancoal trail in Pozza di Fassa is illuminated until as late as 11:00 p.m. and therefore offers and unforgettable cross-country experience well into the night. A more demanding trail can be found up near Ciampac, where cross-country skiers with high stamina can show off their endurance on the 18 km long round course between Pozza and Canazei.

The cross-country centre Alochet is located on the San Pellegrino-Pass, about 11 km away from Moena, and can be reached with the ski bus. A total of 18 km of trails in varying levels of difficulty run over wide-spanning meadows and through snow-covered forests. Whether it be classic or skating style, the trails are always well-kept and are prepared daily. A visit in Alochet will really make for a once in a lifetime experience for both big and small skiers alike, in that everything a cross-country skier's heart could desire can be found here: ski waxing services, equipment hire and ski depot, playing area for children, ski school, a restaurant with bar, changind rooms and a large private parking lot. The cross-country centre is also a part of the SuperNordic Ski Pass, a cross-country pass that grants you access to around 1,200 km of trails in Trentino, Veneto and Emilia Romagna. Use of the trails is possible for a fee.
