Location

The historic 3-star superior Hotel Goldene Rose is situated right in the centre of Welsberg-Taisten. Access to the ski area is via the “Olang” cable car, approximately 11.1 km away, or the “Vierschach-Helm” cable car, approximately 19 km away. Cross-country skiing opportunities are available on the network of trails approximately 400 m away. Ski buses stop right outside the hotel. Welsberg-Gsies railway station is approximately 650 m away. The hotel operates its own shuttle service to the Kronplatz and 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski areas.

Facilities

The traditional South Tyrolean hotel features a reception, Wi-Fi, lounge, lift, breakfast room, in-house restaurant and hotel bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski cellar. On-site parking is available – subject to availability. The hotel also holds South Tyrol’s sustainability label.

Spa

The spa area invites you to relax. Here you will find a Finnish sauna, a sanarium with herbal essences, a hot tub, an infrared cabin, a Turkish steam bath, as well as ice and aroma showers. You can also relax in the relaxation room. You can unwind here with an over-water massage too. Bathing shoes are available on site (on loan).

Board

When booking rooms on a half-board basis, meals include a generous breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, a muesli corner, bread, cake, sausage, bacon, jam, yoghurt and a selection of teas. In the evening, you will be served a 4-course set menu with a salad buffet. Non-alcoholic drinks are included during dinner. Lactose-free (subject to availability), gluten-free (subject to availability) and vegetarian alternatives are also available on request.
