With the "Zwei Länder Skiarena" lift pass, you have access to a total of 211 km of piste and 55 lifts in 6 ski areas: Solda, Schöneben, Haideralm, Watles, Trafoi and Nauders (see ski region).

The nearest ski area from Sluderno is Solda/Sulden, approx. 24 km away, it is located on an altitude between 1,900 m and 3,250 m. With 44 km of pistes, 13 lift system, several freeride slopes and a wonderful view at Ortler, it is suitable for skiers of all levels of skill. Especially the sunny terrace of the cosy Madtisch hut offer a perfect overview over the pistes. Apart from that, you can use the Rosim lift to access the Kanzel ski area, from where you can enjoy the panoramic slope with a length of over 2.5 km on the way back to the lift's valley station.

Sluderno is in a central position in between several ski areas, so that you can go on an extensive ski safari through three countries. Two big buses and two smaller ones take you to the next ski areas on two routes: you can reach the starting point of the "Blue Safari Tour" within approx. 15 minutes. This enjoyable tour takes you to the nearest ski areas, such as e.g. Solda, Trafoi, Watles, Haider Alm, Schöneben and Nauders. After an approx. 1 hour bus trip you get to access the "Red SkiSafari-Tour", which is characterised by large and exciting ski areas such as e.g. Livigno, which is also a shopping paradise, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis and Val Senales. You can get off the bus at your destination of choice and enjoy the day on the pistes.

Night skiing Sluderno

The ski area Solda, which is also the local ski area in Sluderno, offers a special highlight once per week: night skiing. On a length 2.5 km, it is possible to use the piste until night-time. It is not only the piste that is open for night skiers, but also the local gastronomy has extended opening hours. The conveyor belt is also open and illuminated so that you do not have to climb the mountain on foot. Everyone who already has a lift pass for the ski area can enjoy night skiing for free.

Après ski Sluderno

In a small and idyllic mountain village like Sluderno, a day in vacation comes to a quiet end. Make sure to taste local wines and spoil yourself with regional specialities. Tobogganing, snow show hiking and horse-drawn carriage rides are active ways to explore the surrounding nature of Sluderno. Small hikes alongside the Waale, the old irrigation channels in the region, are also recommendable: for example, they lead over Sonnenberg and past the well-known Churburg castle. The "Sonnensteig" themed path leads through the surrounding villages Burgeis, Mals, Tartsch and Spondinig.

Fans of rocks that don't want to hold still during the winter will enjoy the climbing hall in Sluderno which is not dependant on the weather. When it's cold enough, a natural ice rink is the perfect place for families to go ice skating. With lake Reschen approx. 21 km north of Sluderno you will find a top spot in the ice skating scene. Here you can cover a distance of approx. 6 km on on ice.

For tobogganing you visit the neighbouring village of Malles Venosta, which is only a few kilometres from Sluderno. Here you can look forward to a night toboggan run with a length of more than 4 km that you can reach with the Watles lift. The "SportWell Mals", a modern sports centre in Malles Venosta, offer numerous activities such as swimming, fitness training, saunas, tennis or skittles.

Snowpark: Snowpark Sluderno

In the ski area Solda, the well-shaped snowpark alongside the Madritsch hut offers various boxes, rails and kickers. Twice per week, the lift station crew hold up the maintenance of the park. Further, in the surrounding ski areas, there a 2 ski safari tours accessible, and dozens of further funparks.
