Ski area Fassatal

Val di Fassa is especially famous due to its Sella Ronda day tour and the Ciampac descent into the valley near Alba. The lift pass "Fassatal-Karersee" is included in the holiday price and includes 120 kilometres of piste, as well as 53 lifts between the altitudes of 1,320 and 2,950 m in the areas of Canazei, Campitello, Alba, Pozza and Vigo di Fassa, as well as Karersee. For even more skiing enjoyment, you can book an upgrade to the lift pass "Dolomiti Superski" and gain access to 1,200 kilometres of piste and 448 lifts. Among them are the Sella Ronda, the 40 km long day journey around the Sella Massif using skis and lifts and beginning directly in the Fassatal. Snowboarders will enjoy the Buffaure-Ciampac area with a large snowpark, and the Col Rodella with its funpark and boardercross.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Après ski Fassatal

After skiing you'll be welcomed into many different apres ski bars, and afterwards you can experience the nightlife in the pubs and discos. Otherwise, indulge in the traditional Ladin cuisine with its light and spicy dishes. And be sure not to miss the chance to try the fine Trentino wine! The sports opportunities are extraordinary: paragliding, hang gliding, ice hockey and ice skatiing, bowling, archery, squash, tennis, inline skating, etc. Those romantics will have the opportunity to experience an evening torch lit hike or horse-drawn sleigh ride. Also recommendable is a visit to the "Eghes Centre", an indoor swimming pool styled after the Roman thermal springs. Or go for a walk on some of the 20 km of prepared winter hiking and snowshoeing path. Campitello is an internationally-known meeting place for paragliders and hang gliders. Here you´ll find large sports centre, complete with a climbing wall and a golf-practise place, as well as inline hockey, basketball, football and tennis courts. Or take advantage of the 20 km of winter footpaths and the snowshoe footpaths.
