Ski area Civetta

With the lift pass "Civetta", 80 km of piste and 23 lift systems in this very family-friendly ski area are available to you. The pistes are located at an altitude of 1,000 m to 2,100 m and offer an adequate level of reliability for snow, which can also be supported by the extensive snow-making facilities. Of the 80 km of pistes, 30 km are marked as blue, 44 km as red and 6 km as black.

As a whole, the slopes in the ski area Civetta are very beginner-friendly. There are multiple ski schools with large children's areas, which teach and introduce children playfully to skiing. The littlest guests are looked after in the "Happy Park", in "Zoldoland" and in the practice area "Santa Fosca". In addition, around a dozen mountain restaurants ensure that winter sports guests stay well-fed and comfortable.

The gondola Pian del Crep takes you from the resort district Pecol in Zoldo Alto up into the ski area. At the Crep de Pecol (1,764 m), there are mostly red and blue slopes. A real highlight for skilled skiers is the black World Cup slope "Foppe". It is 1.5 km long and ends in Pecol at a height of 1,388 m. The black Foppe and the red piste Cristelin are illuminated from Tuesdays to Saturdays for night skiing. The Zoldo snow park is also located here, with a set-up of kickers and jibs, meaning freestylers can continue having fun into the evening multiple times a week.

Above Alleghe there are mainly blue pistes. However, the black slope "Nera" is also available as a steeper slope for the pros. The respectably sized "Central Park" snow park, with kickers and snowboard cross, is located under the mountain station of the Col dei Baldi lift.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

The après ski possibilities in Zoldo are extremely diverse. In the ski area as well as at the valley stations, numerous huts and umbrella bars invite you in for sociable get-togethers. After the lifts close at the valley station in Zoldo-Pecol, you are met with classic après ski in the "Zoldo Dome", a popular cocktail bar with a DJ and live music. In the villages, principally Zoldo Alto and Forno di Zoldo, creature comforts are ensure by numerous bars, trattorias and, of course, ice cream parlours, that sell the famous gelato. In addition, events ranging from children's discos to ski shows and music nights take place regularly in the ski area. For those who are in Zoldo in February, make sure to watch the "La Gnaga" carnival festival in the town district of Fornesighe. Magnificently decorated masks will be presented and paraded here.

For those who like to be out and about in nature will find romantic winter hiking paths in the valley floor, snowshoe trails at the Monte Rite and challenging ski tours at the Civetta and Pelmo. Snowpark: Alleghe Central Park Zoldo

The ski area Civetta features two snow parks. The "Snowpark Zoldo" is located on the Crep de Pecol near Zoldo. It is prepared near the red piste no. 39 "Cristelin", where the flood lighting facilities ensure prolonged skiing fun in the evenings. As result, shredding on the six obstacles is possible into the evening hours from Tuesday to Saturday.

The main attraction for freestylers in the ski area is the "Alleghe Central Park" at the Col dei Baida chair lift. This park is 210 m long and offers S lines, M lines and L lines for beginners, advanced skiers and professionals. The pros also have five kickers of different heights as well as 11 jibs to choose from. If the snow conditions are appropriate, a half-pipe will also be formed. The "Mini Central Park" makes up another part of the area, which has been specifically created for younger skiers and newcomers to freestyling. Here, there's a line with jumps, as well as four jibs. As if that wasn't enough, a Big Air Bag is also waiting to help the more daring freestylers get more air time by helping out with a safer landing. The snow park is also a regular site for freestyle events.
