Ski area Adelboden-Lenk

Ski area Adelboden-Lenk

The ski area Adelboden-Lenk spreads over an altitude of 1,075 - 2,289 m and, with approx. 220 km of piste, is one of the largest ski areas in Switzerland. Modern lift systems cater for carefree transportation. The first 10-person gondola in the Bernese Oberland, the Stand X-Press, takes you up the mountain even faster and even more comfortable.

The ski area is mainly characterised by easy to intermediate slopes. - The perfect place for beginners. Experienced skiers will not miss out on anything either. The most difficult pistes are the 2.1 km long "Liegli-Gleis" slope with which you cover a difference in altitude of 431 m, and the "Elsighorn-Sneggi" slope with a length of 2 km and a difference in altitude of 460 m. The steep World Cup slope can be found above Adelboden's district Boden.

Skiers who love speed can let off steam on the permanent racing pistes and on slopes with speed sensors. Snowcross and freeride fans will also get their money's worth in the Adelboden-Lenk ski area. Freestylers can also use the Gran Masta Snowpark.

Night skiing Adelboden

The trend of night skiing is not being missed out on in Switzerland. The ski area Adelboden-Lenk celebrates night skiing in a very special way: here it is called "Chuenis bi Nacht", which means more than just night skiing. Everything from laser- and sports shows to sociable fondue evenings is available here. The 4-person chairlift as Chuenisbärgli extends its operation hours every Friday evening in February, so that you can explore the Worldcup piste. The route between the valley station in Boden and back to the top can be achieved easily with the shuttle bus that goes at night. Good news for everybody with a valid lift pass: night skiing is included in your lift pass.

Après ski Adelboden

Apres ski in Adelboden is rather laid back, but the numerous ski lodges and mountain restaurants offer a great chance to recover from a day on the piste. In the pubs, bars and discos in resort, you can either let the day come to a relaxed end or turn night into day in, e.g. the "Berna-Bar".

If you prefer sporty apres ski, you're at the right address in Adelboden. A few spins around the artificial ice rink, curling, tobogganing, or 40 km of hiking trails, will have all sports fans' hearts beat faster. Enjoy a special experience with paragliding or building an Igloo!

Snowpark: Adelboden

The Gran Masta Park is situated on a height of 1,850 m in the Hahnenmoos region in the ski area of Adelboden-Lenk. The snowpark is known as the number one slopestyle meeting point of the region. Apart from different kickers at all levels of difficulty, boarders can also let off steam on a variety of boxes: whether you prefer rainbow, double wave or C-Box - everybody can prove their skills. Corner, bonks and rails are also available.

The snowpark offers its own lift so that you don't have to make long ways. The Grand Masta Bar caters to perfect boarder fun with music, food and regular events (such as e.g. the fullmoon fondue).

Additional boarder cross slopes can be found in the regions Betelberg/Lenk and Silleren/Adelboden.
