Ski area Melchsee-Frutt

With the "Melchsee-Frutt" lift pass you have access to 32 perfectly prepared kilometres of piste for all skill levels and 10 lifts. At snow-sure altitudes from 1,800 m - 2,160 m, this smaller ski area offers great pistes for daring runs and numerous modern snow-making systems ensure even more snow security. With the Fruttpark, you can enjoy Central Switzerland's largest fun park! Leave your tracks in the deep snow or enjoy the run on the longest piste (5.2 km). Numerous floodlit areas have been established so that the fun doesn't end at sunset. The little ones are also offered quite a bit in Fruttli-Land: from the magic carpet to the ski carousel to the mini club, kids will be introduced to the world of skiing with games and fun. To round off a fun day skiing, there are numerous lodges and mountain restaurants along the pistes, all ready to spoil you with their sun terraces and Swiss treats!

Après ski Melchsee-Frutt

After an eventful day on the piste, cosy restaurants and lodges invite you in for some socialising over regional and international delectables. With traditional cheese fondue, "rösti" or "hot stone" and a good glass of wine, you can look back on the successful ski day. Later hit the bars and pubs in Sarnen for a bit of fun. "Maya's Big Loop Saloon", "Freeheit" or "Formula Pub" are the most popular starting points for party fans, and those looking to dance will head to "Bar-Dancing-Lounge Le Clou". Here you can turn night into day and party into the early morning hours. In addition to trips to the nearby resorts Luzern or Engelberg, Sarnen offers a variety of activities for spending a day away from the piste. A snow-tubing facility offers tons of fun, and romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides or dog sled rides are also available, as are snow shoe and winter hikes. Relaxation seekers will find what they need at "Aqua Center" in neighbouring Kerns. A real treat is ice fishing on the frozen Melchsee!
