Location

The cosy 3-star Hotel Blumental is located in the car-free mountain village of Mürren. The journey to the hotel is only possible by cable car from Stechelberg (for a fee). The centre of Mürren, some shopping facilities and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The station of the Schilthorn cable car and thus the access point to the ski area is about 250 m away from the accommodation. In good snow conditions, skiing down directly to the accommodation is possible.

Facilities

The centrally located accommodation's facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi, lounge, breakfast room, restaurant and ski cellar. Parking spaces are available for a fee directly at the valley station of the Schilthornbahn lift in Stechelberg.

In resort, you will also receive a guest card which includes, for example, free entry to the Mürren sports centre with indoor swimming pool and ice rink (as per info in resort, subject to change and restrictions).

Board

The included half board comprises an extensive breakfast buffet and a 3-course menu in the evening. Furthermore, a gala menu can be booked in resort for New Year's Eve (as per info in resort).

1 x per stay, instead of the hotel breakfast, you can participate free of charge in a James Bond 007 Brunch on the Schilthorn in the Piz Gloria 360° Restaurant (from 3 nights stay, cable car ride only with valid lift pass, arrival from 8:00 - 10:30). This offers you a large breakfast buffet as well as various drinks and a large selection of bread.

Important notes

  • The arrival and departure from Stechelberg to Mürren is only possible with the cable car (for a fee). Depending on the duration of the lift pass booked, the descent from Mürren to Stechelberg may already be included in the lift pass. Please enquire about this at the valley station in Stechelberg on the day of arrival.
  • Children aged 5 or under can use the ski lifts free of charge when accompanied by their parents. Should the children use the lifts in the area of validity of the Jungfrau Ski Pass on their own (e.g. as part of ski lessons), a "Piccolo" ticket must be purchased in resort. Further information is available at the lift office.
  • When booking rooms with multiple or additional beds, there is no claim to the additional beds
