Ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental

With the lift pass "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental" you have access to one of the largest and most modern ski regions in Austria! On numerous occasions, SkiWelt has won prizes as one of the best ski areas in the world. 90 modern lifts, 284 km of piste (of which 254 km can be covered with artificial snow) including 23 km of ski routes, as well as three snow parks offer unlimited skiing fun. Regardless if you are young or old, novice or professional – SkiWelt has something for everyone.

Commencing with the winter season 2015/2016 Brixen offers a new lift highlight: the Joch lift - the worlds fastest 8-person gondola - was taken into operation. The engageable cabin lift has heated seating and transfers you quickly with a speed of 6 m per second and with great comfort over the distance of 2 km. Moreover, the Joch run also takes you through an underpass to cross the access road.

From Brixen you can easily reach Hartkaiser and Hohe Salve through Hochbrixen on one side, where beginners as well as experts and freeriders will certainly get their money's worth. On the other side, you can enter the Kitzbühel pistes through the Choralpe. The Big Playground on the Gampenkogel sweetens the boarder's day. The 5.5 km long valley run from the Choralpe demands some experience, whereas beginners will find great pistes on the Westendorf side or near Hochbrixen. Freeriders will get their money's worth in Hopfgarten, Scheffau or Westendorf. The region's 81 ski huts also offer a real treat.

If you are going on holiday together with your children, or if in fact you yourself have a thing for fairytales, you should definitely check out the new 10-person "discovery"-gondola in SkiWelt Söll. Interesting experiences built around the theme "Hans in Luck" await you!

By upgrading to the "Super Ski Card" lift pass, you get access to over 2,750 km of piste and 943 lifts in 22 ski regions!

Snowpark: Big Playground Brixen in Thale

Four great snow parks and one obstacle course are available for you in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. From Brixen you can most easily reach the "Mini Playground", the "Big Playground" or the "Boarders Playground" parks.
