Ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental

With the lift pass "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental" you have access to one of the largest and most modern ski regions in the world! On numerous occasions, SkiWelt has won prizes as one of the best ski areas in the world. 89 modern lifts, 284 km of piste (of which 254 km can be covered with artificial snow) as well as several snow parks offer unlimited skiing fun. Regardless if you are young or old, novice or professional – SkiWelt has something for everyone. In the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental ski area you can also find three day and night tobogganing run, one of them with a length of approx. 4,5 km in ski area Ellmau-Going.

The high-tech, 10-person gondola "Hartkaiser", built in 2015, takes you up to 1,530 m altitude. The cabin lift has heated seating and Wi-Fi, and replaces the previous "Hartkaiser" lift, now being one of the most modern lifts in the world. This also leads to modernisation of the actual lift stations. The mountain station was enlarged to include the new "Erlebnis Eldorado Hartkaiser" activity area, including e.g. a children's restaurant and activity ski school. The valley station includes a new sports shop, restaurant, apres ski bar, parking garage and a heated ski depot.

From the Hartkaiser you can directly access the rest of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. The 4.1 km valley run from Hartkaiser in particular promises unlimited piste fun, besides loads of other attractive runs. Cracks can test the black pistes, and ample deep snow areas are also available. The 81 ski huts in the ski area promise a real treat.

By upgrading to the "Super Ski Card" lift pass, you get access to over 2,750 km of piste and 938 lifts in 22 ski regions (see Ski Region).

If you are going on holiday together with your children, or if in fact you yourself have a thing for fairytales, you should definitely check out the new 10-person "discovery"-gondola in SkiWelt Söll. Interesting experiences built around the theme "Hans in Luck" await you!

Night skiing Ellmau

The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental offers night skiing possibilities in three ski areas: in Söll, Brixen and Westendorf. The highlight regarding night skiing awaits you in SkiWelt Söll. Here you can look forward to Austia's largest night ski area! From Wednesday to Saturday, a total of 10 km prepared pistes are available until night-time. The five descents in the area nearby the Hochsöll gondola as well as the chairlifts Keat and Hexen6er are illuminated by flood-light until 21:30 in the evening. Apart from all those slopes, the fun area "Hans im Glück" at the 4-person chair lift is illuminated for night-time skiing fun. Night skiing in Söll is extraordinary and so extensive that a special lift pass has to be acquired in order to use the offer.

Apart from this exceptional offer, the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental has two further night skiing areas: The 500 m beginner's area at the 4-person chairlift in Westendorf is illuminated every Tuesday until 21:00. In Brixen, the 300 m blue night ski piste at Schusterbühel lift is available until 19:00 in the evening. Also in Westendorf and Brixen a fee has to be paid in order to enjoy night skiing.

Après ski Ellmau

Rustic huts, snack stations, trendy evening spots, bars and discos offer countless après ski opportunities and have made Ellmau a favourite winter sports resort. One highlight in Ellmau is the weekly Ellmau ski night with mulled wine stands, hot rhythms and the "Pistenbulli" parade. Or, get to know the famous Tyrolean hospitality in the well maintained cafés and taverns. A round of moonlight tobogganing, ice skating or curling promise a fun time.

Those looking for more action are sure to find just the right thing with snow-tubing or a trip heli-skiing. Relaxation seekers will find peace and relaxation in the Ellmau Kaiserbad's pool and sauna area after a day's skiing. Alternatively, exploring the beautiful landscape on a winter hike or an extended horse-drawn sleigh ride is possible.

Snowpark: Intersport Kaiserpark Ellmau

Several great snow parks are available for you in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. In Ellmau-Going the "Intersport Kaiserpark" awaits you at the "Tanzboden" lift on the Hartkaiser. Beginners and the slightly more advanced can test their talent on the boxes and tubes of the easy line. The more experienced and the pros can use the medium and the pro line with a range of obstacles such as boxes and rails as well as jib elements. Furthermore, there is also a kicker line with a 5 m long kicker and 8 m long roller. Between the rides and after a great freestyler day you can relax in the park-own chill area.

Those looking for extra sports fun will find two further special highlights in the SkiWelt. Thanks to the floodlight runs the "Crazy Kangaroo Park" in Söll offers a night session 4 times a week and in the "Big Playground" in Westendorf await even more exciting obstacles for all ability levels. With the Mini Playgroud on the exercise ground in Westendorf and the "Hans im Glück" ski obstacle course at the "Hans im Glück" gondola in Söll, beginner's will also find a broad offer of possibilities!
