Night skiing Kufstein

The German-Austrian border region has quite a lot to offer, such as e.g. the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. It comprises smaller and larger ski areas that are only a few minutes from Kufstein, some of which also offer night skiing. If you want to take it slowly you will find the perfect conditions for night skiing in the SkiWelt Westendorf and Brixen im Thale. In the SkiWelt Söll, on the other hand, you will find one of the largest night ski areas in Austria: 10 km of pistes are available for night skiing fun! If you want to use the pistes differently in the dark you can also use the night toboggan run.

Après ski Kufstein

The Kufsteinerland has a lot to offer when it comes to leisure activities and excursions. Apart from the cultural highlights in the historical part of Kufstein, lovers of Nature will find many hiking trails and toboggan runs in the surrounding area. Whether you're going up by foot or with the lift, going down on forest paths during the day or with floodlights in the evening - everything is possible in the tobogganing region of Kufstein. At "Kala-Alm" nearby Pendling or at "Aschinger Alm" in Buchberg bei Ebbs you can find the popular natural runs. The Hechtsee lake is a picturesque destination for a day trip with the family. Several nordic walking and hiking paths lead around the idyllic lake. With its 335 km long trail network, the region is the biggest run and walking region in Austria! You can explore the winter landscapes on snow shoes - guided tours start e.g. at Angerberg. As if the experience wasn't beautiful enough as it is, hikers will be accompanied by huskies.

As a district capital, Kufstein is a vibrant city with countless restaurants, bars and clubs to end the day in. In the famous Römerhofgasse in the old town, you can look forward to the "Stollen 1930", a bar that was mined directly into the mountain. This did not seem to be extraordinary enough, and the owners designed the bar in the pompous style of the 1930s, and the corresponding drinks are served. The bar belongs to the hotel and restaurant "Auracher Löchl", where regional delicacies are offered. Later on, you could have a cocktail in the modern bar "Pure" and dance the night away in the "Segebar".

If you're ready to travel a little further, you find a large selection of leisure time activities in the nearby cities Innsbruck and Salzburg. In Salzburg you can see sensational ice formations in the "Eisriesenwelt". Here, in the world's largest ice cave you can find a 40 km long cave system, where visitors will be amazed by huge ice hangings and figures. The Mozart city is located approx. one hour away from Kufstein and definitely worth a visit. Vibrant Innsbruck and the famour "Goldenes Dachl" is only about an hour away.

Everybody will find what they're looking for here!

The "Boarders Playground Westendorf" is an insider's tip among experienced boarders and pros. Demanding obstacles invite in the elite to shred in the area, and the park is also host to various championships. "Big Mama", a spectacular giant ski jump, is the cetral piece of this snowpark. The "Kaiserpark Ellmau" at Tanzboden lift is a perfect mix of a renowned funpark and a relaxed atmosphere.
