In Leogang, you have direct access to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. Most of the pistes above Leogang are blue and easy to ski. However, there is also a race track with time measurement as well as the "Tarlack" run, a black run for experts. For the little ones, a children's area is available. With the gondola, you head over the Asitz and then over into the Glemm Valley, where further beautiful carving routes, numerous moguls, steep slopes and two floodlit pistes await you. Numerous snow-making facilities also ensure snow reliability. There are wonderful freeride opportunities at the Zwölferkogel-West and Schattberg-West, for example, and offer the best conditions for professionals.
In the Nitro Snowpark Leogang, with its boxes, rails, corners, big air kickers and more, freestylers will really get their money's worth! The park was designed by world champion Stefan Gimpl.
In 2023, the Skicircus is planned to be connected to Zell am See via pistes and lifts. The new ZellamseeXpress from the Glemm Valley to the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See is already available.
Night skiing Leogang
If skiing by day is not enough for you, Austria also has several night ski areas on offer. These special ski areas open some of their lifts outside their regular opening hours for night skiing. The ski circus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn also has a few of these night ski piste that allow you to stay on your skis even after nightfall. In Leogang at Schantei lift, winter sports fans can go night skiing on the approx. 500 m illuminated piste several times a week. The Unterschwarzbahn lift in Hinterglemm also operates on the approx. 1.2 km floodlit piste for night skiing. Here, freestylers can enter the Nightpark for their tricks and jumps at night time. After a day on the piste, take the opportunity to discover Leogang and its various sights. These include e.g. St. Anna Chapel or the mining museum approx. 4 km away in the village Hütten.For those who like some sporty alternatives, from curling and squash to tandem paragliding, there is quite a selection in Leogang, guaranteeing fun and leaving no room for boredom. A special kick is ensure by skidoo or snow quad tours. Another highlight is a run down the night tobogganing slope in Asitz. Those wanting a more relaxed evening can take a horse-drawn sleigh ride and enjoy the surrounding area.
Whoever wants to party should make a trip to Saalbach or Hinterglem, where the motto "the colder the temperature, the hotter the mood!" reigns. The Skicircus has been awarded for the best après ski selection. In the après ski scene, the Skicircus is amongst the best addresses. During the day countless après ski bars invite you for a stop, in the afternoon the party-atmosphere at hotspots such as e.g. "Hinterhag Alm" and "Goaßstall" is unstoppable. And those looking for Oktoberfest atmosphere in the middle of winter will find exactly that at the mountain station of the Asitzbahn, in the 1,763 m high AsitzBräu.
Snowpark: Leogang
In the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn there are four funparks, which offer you a lot of variety and promise an adrenalin rush!In Leogang the "Nitro Snowpark Leogang" is located directly at the Asitz. With corners, big airs as well as different rails and boxes the Nitro Park leaves nothing to be desired and offers optimal training possibilities for all freestylers. It was designed by world champion Stefan Gimpl. A table with three different jumps provides additional fun. In the jib zone especially beginners can take their first steps on easy boxes.
If shredding during the day is not enough for you, the best thing to do in the evening is to go to the "Nightpark" at the Unterschwarzachbahn in Hinterglemm, where you can freestyle in the dark thanks to the finest lighting. There is also the Learn-to-Ride-Park in Saalbach am Bernkogel with mini kickers and beginner boxes, which is great for beginners and their first tricks. There is also a ski and boardercross track nearby. So the ski circus turns out to be a freestyle circus as well.
In Fieberbrunn there is the "Easy Park" for intermediates and beginners at the middle station Streuböden. It has five kickers, two wave tracks and four boxes.
