Ski area Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn

Ski area Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn

With the included "Ski Alpin Card" lift pass, you can ski a total of 408 kilometres of pistes with the motto "1 ticket, 3 regions, endless mountains". The lift pass includes skiing in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn as well as in the ski area on the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and the glacier ski area on the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun. Those who are still not satisfied with the piste selection can consider upgrading their lift pass to the "Super Ski Card" (see ski region). This lift pass is valid in 22 ski regions in Tyrol and Salzburg and guarantees practically endless fun along a breathtaking 2,750 km of pistes.

From Saalbach, you have direct access to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbunn. It has numerous beautiful carving tracks, moguls, steep slopes, a race track with time measurement and two floodlit pistes. Numerous snow-making facilities also ensure a very high level of snow security.

The "Saalbach-Runde" circuit is recommended for those who want to discover the blue pleasure runs around Saalbach, including the world championship track on the Kohlmais. The route leads over 16 km around the village on both sides of the Glemm Valley.

In general, beginners will find what they are looking for here: A total of 140 km of blue and green pistes offer ideal starting points for a beginner's ski holiday. Families with children also get their money's worth. For example, "Leo's Kinderland" is located directly at the bottom station of the Asitz cable car. The practice area with magic carpet, children's carousel, snow igloo and a knight's castle is ideal for children who are making their first turns in the snow. There's a good reason why Saalbach is one of the most popular ski areas in the Alps - here, every ski-lover will find a suitable spot. Professionals should prove their skills on the downhill runs "Zwölferkogel Nord" and "Schattberg Nord". There are wonderful freeride possibilities at the Zwölferkogel-West and Schattberg-West, but these should only be reserved for real professionals. Freeriders feel at home on the funcross tracks and along the deep black, challenging northern slopes.

Freestylers will find paradise in the Skicircus - they can let off steam in three snowparks and one boardercross track.

A direct lift connection between the Skicircus and the ski area in Zell am See is planned for 2023. You already have the possibility to take the "ZellamseeXpress" from Glemm Valley up to the Zeller Schmittenhöhe. This gondola is easily reached by a bus connection between Viehhofen and Vorderglemm.

Après ski Saalbach

The colder the temperatures, the hotter the atmosphere! Après ski is the name of the game in Saalbach and Hinterglemm! Already during the day, around numerous rustically cosy huts invite you in to toast to a perfect day's skiing, and are the magnet of après ski. A visit to the "Hinterhagalm" and the "Bauer's Schi-Alm" is compulsory for every après ski fan! Numerous bars and pubs in all style variations continue this in the evening and invite you in to party and flirt. Even the discos have something for every music taste, whether that be rock, pop, rave, techno, foxtrot or a waltz. Those looking for Oktoberfest atmosphere in Winter will find just that at the mountain station of the Asitz lift at 1,763 m in the AsitzBräu. It's not much of a surprise that the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn was already awarded for its large offer of apres ski possibilities.

For anyone who would prefer it a bit cosier, there are numerous restaurants and cafés available. Just ask your host where you can eat the original "Pinzgauer meals". Or take a relaxing stroll through the virtually traffic-free village. Sporting facilities are also numerous: no matter if ice skating, tobogganing, high-speed snow-tubing or romantic rides in horse-drawn sledges, there is something for everyone.
