Ski holidays Sölden - party umbrellas and powder snow!

Sölden

The world-class resort Sölden (1,377 m), in the centre of the Ötz Valley, is one of the most well-known ski and snowboard centres of Europe, as well as a legendary après ski metropolis. The ski region (1,350 - 3,340 m) consists of the famous Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers as well as Sölden's own Giggijoch-Gaislachkogel ski area. These are linked by lifts to the glaciers, thus creating an absolutely perfect ski arena of 142 kilometres of piste. The "Big 3" in the ski area of Sölden, three 3,000 m peaks with viewing platform and 360° panoramic view offer a special kick when admiring the amazing mountain landscape.

Afternoons and evenings are "party time"- you'll have a great time in the mountain huts and in the village itself. Sölden's tourism infrastructure will leave no wish unfulfilled. A highlight is the recreational arena, in which you'll find the Ötztal Alpine Pool (affectionately built in the Tyrolean style) and its saunas. The recreational arena also has a sports and tennis hall, fitness studio, bowling alleys and a cinema. Countless shops on the high street invite you to take a look around. Furthermore, with a lift pass that is valid for 6 days or more, entre to the "James Bond Erlebniswelt - 007 ELEMENTS" is included.

Ötztal

Few alpine valleys have as much to offer a guest as the Ötztal in Tyrol: kilometres of piste en masse and for all abilities, very modern lift systems, extensive cross-country tracks and around 250 mountains looming at 3000 m throughout the Ötztal Alps - skiers' pulses will certainly race! Additionally, there is an abundance of cleared winter hiking trails, rustic huts and in the evenings - depending on taste - an upbeat mood in the numerous discos and bars, a fun sledding party or night skiing. Quaint winter villages, the most prominent winter sports resorts, and not least the Aqua Dome in Längenfeld, which promises rest and relaxation - no wish is left unfulfilled!
