Location

The cosy Der Forsthof hotel is situated approx. 100 m away from the centre of Alpendorf. The centre of St. Johann im Pongau is always worth a visit, and is approx. 4 km away from the accommodation. Access to the ski slopes is provided by the Gernkogelbahn mountain railway approx. 250 m away. Alpine skiers and snowboarders can get on a slope directly at the door. Cross-country skiing trails can be reached within about 4 km. You can experience a rush of adrenaline on a well-prepared toboggan run approx. 4 km away from the hotel. Ski buses stop within about 100 m. The St. Johann im Pongau railway station can be reached after approx. 4 km.

Facilities

Our hotel features various amenities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a breakfast room and a hotel restaurant. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski cellar. Drivers can use a parking lot - subject to availability.

Spa

Our wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul and enjoy a sauna and an infrared cabin. Massages are available for a fee and help encourage an overall sense of well-being.

High chairs and cots can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

The half board catering plan includes a rich buffet style breakfast with products from our own farm. At dinner, our cooks put together a 3-course menu of choice. On request, we also serve dietary meals, lactose-free dishes, gluten-free as well as vegetarian alternatives.

Important notes

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• Children aged 5 or under (at time of departure) do not receive a lift pass voucher at the Snow Space Salzburg ski resort. Children in this age group may use the ski lifts free of charge when accompanied by an adult. If your child wishes to use the lifts independently or attend a ski course, a Minicard (lift pass) must be purchased on site. The same applies to the use of ski lifts in other ski resorts. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
• Family Spring Deals: 13/03/2027 until the end of the season – children born in 2011 or later receive a free multi-day pass valid for 4 days or more (official proof of family relationship required). This offer is subject to at least one parent purchasing a multi-day pass valid for 4 days or more for the same period. If there are more children travelling than adults, or if the promotion conditions are not met, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site. • Please note that during the late season, from 07/04/26 to 10/04/26, the ski resort will only be open on a limited basis.
