Ski area Kašperské Hory

The Kašperské Hory ski area, operated by Snowhill, is located just 400 m from the town centre. It has three t-bar lifts that open up two blue descent runs and a slightly more difficult red one. The pistes are all covered with artificial snow, so that the manageable terrain is snow-sure and varied. There is a slalom course with timekeeping on one of the blue descents and the main descent is floodlit several times a week for night skiing.

The small ski centre offers the complete infrastructure right next to the piste with a ski school, ski and snowboard hire and a test centre. Hungry skiers can take a breather in a cosy restaurant at the mountain station and a bistro at the valley station. The ski school's practice area, which also offers lessons in English, is nicely separated by its own lifts, which provide access to a practice slope and a child-friendly snowtubing track.
