Ski area Civetta

With the lift pass "Civetta", 80 km of piste and 23 lift systems are available to you in this family-friendly ski area. The altitude of 1,000 m to 2,100 m ensures an adequate level of reliability for snow in the winter months, which can also be supported by the extensive snow-making facilities. Of the 80 km of pistes, 30 km are marked as blue, 44 km as red and 6 km as black.

From Alleghe you can take the gondola and then further up the chair lift to the the Plateau La Tiezza, where there is mainly gentle slopes with blue pistes. There is also the black piste No. 6, a steeper slope for the pros. A real highlight for very experienced skiers is the black World Cup slope "Foppe" at the Crep de Pecol. It is 1.5 km long and ends in Pecol (1,388 m), a district of Zoldo Alto.

The respectably sized "Central Park" snow park, with kickers and snowboard cross, is located under the mountain station of the Col dei Baldi lift. Another snow park can be found on the Crep de Pecol, above Zoldo. Here, the red and black runs down to Zoldo area illuminated for night skiing from Tuesdays to Saturdays.

As a whole, the slopes in the ski area Civetta are very beginner-friendly. There are multiple ski schools with large children's areas, which teach and introduce children playfully to skiing. The main attraction for the little guests is the "Happy Park", a play area and kindergarten in the snow. The ski huts, with their warm kitchens, are also impressive. Around a dozen mountain restaurants ensure guests stay warm and well fed.

The upgrade to the "Dolomiti Superski" lift pass also grants you the possibility of skiing in 12 ski areas on a total of approx. 1,200 km of piste (see: Ski Region).

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Night skiing Alleghe

The Civetta ski area is an Eldorado for families both during the day and at night. This is because night skiing is offered all around this small, but great Italian winter sports resort. From Tuesdays to Saturdays a total of 5 km of pistes on the Crep de Pecol (1,764 m) near Zoldo are illuminated. Among the night slopes, there is the blue piste 45, the red piste 39 and the black piste 38, the latter of which being floodlit all the way into the valley. The Pian del Crep lift, the Cristelin chair lift and the Campetto tow lift have extended hours on the night-skiing days. The snow park is also located in the night skiing area, which means the shredding fun can continue on into the evening hours.

Après ski Alleghe

The are five après ski bars in the ski area for social get-togethers during the lunch break and an umbrella bar at the valley station makes for an inviting destination to celebrate after the lifts close. But even more captivating is the attractive surrounding landscape. The Dolomitie Bellunesi National Park is a perfect destination for trips out in the picturesque mountain landscape: winter hikes, snowshoe trails or cross-country track are all available in the afternoon. If the temperatures are low enough, the Lago di Alleghe lake is clear for ice skating. Independent from the weather, ice skating is also possible in the modern ice sports hall in the resort. The local ice-hockey club trains here and is nationally successful.

Snowpark: Alleghe Central Park, Snowpark Zoldo Alleghe

The ski area Civetta features two snow parks. The main attraction for freestylers is the "Alleghe Central Park" at the Col dei Baida chair lift. This park is 210 m long and offers S lines, M lines and L lines for beginners, advanced skiers and professionals. The pros also have five kickers of different heights as well as 11 jibs to choose from. If the snow conditions are appropriate, a half-pipe will also be formed. The "Mini Central Park" makes up another part of the area, which has been specifically created for younger skiers and newcomers to freestyling. Here, there's a line with jumps, as well as four jibs. As if that wasn't enough, a Big Air Bag is also waiting to let the more daring freestylers get more air time by helping out with a safer landing. The snow park is also a regular site for freestyle events.

Another snow park is located on the Crep de Pecol near Zoldo: the "Snowpark Zoldo". It is prepared near the red piste no. 39 "Cristelin", where the flood lighting facilities ensure prolonged skiing fun in the evenings. As result, shredding on the six obstacles is possible into the evening hours from Tuesday to Saturday.
