Location
The modern 4-star Alpenrose hotel is situated approx. 10,1 km away from the centre of Mals. The centre of St. Valentin deserves a visit, and is approx. 1,7 km away from the accommodation. The Haideralm/Schöneralm cable car, which is approx. 1,9 km away, will take you to the ski area. There is a picturesque and inviting lake, the Haidersee, located just a couple of minutes away from the hotel. Ski buses stop right at the door. The Mals railway station can be reached after approx. 10,6 km. Nearby shopping opportunities can be reached within approx. 1,5 km.Facilities

Important notes
- Minimum age to enter the accommodation: 14 years old
- A lift pass voucher is not issued for children up to and including the age of 5. For each adult ski pass purchased, one accompanying child receives a free ticket for the use of the lift systems on site (ID required). If there are more children travelling with you than adults, a children's ski pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
- Please note that the Zwei Länder Skiarena ski area is only open in Watles and Schöneben at the start of the season until 12 December 2025. At the end of the season, from 23 March 2026, the Watles ski area will be closed, while the ski areas in Schöneben and Nauders will remain open until 10 April 2026. Subject to changes.
