Ski area Solda

Ski area Solda

With the "Zwei Länder Skiarena" lift pass, you have access to a total of 211 km of piste and 55 lifts in 6 ski areas: Solda, Schöneben, Haideralm, Watles, Trafoi and Nauders (see ski region).

The ski area in Solda impresses with its snow security from November all the way to the beginning of May on 44 diverse km of piste found on the glacier. 13 lifts bring you up onto the mountain, one of them being the largest cable car systems in the Alps. The new 10-person circulating lift, the Rosim Lift, takes you comfortably to the Kanzel ski area. This area next to Langenstein is especially designed for experts. The panorama piste in that area runs over 2.5 km and 650 m altitude down tot he valley station of the chair lift.

Beginners particularly get their money's worth on both practice pistes at the valley station as well as the sunny slope. Freestyle fans can also take part in the action: Next to the funpark at the Madritsch Hut, a permanent boardercross run is available to check out. Deep snow runs are also ready to be tested out at Schöntauf peak.

By the way, parents don't have to worry about their little ones: they'll be taken good care of in the Yeti Club, where they can await a diverse day programme.

Night skiing Stelvio

Only a stone's throw from Stelvio, in the nearby Solda, you can explore a beautiful night ski area in Southern Tyrol. On a 2.5 km illuminated piste, night skiing is possible once per week. It is not only the piste that is open to use, also the nearby huts extend their opening hours for night skiers. If you already own a lift pass, night skiing fun is included. The conveyor belt at the piste is of course open for night skiing as well, so that you do not have to walk up to the piste.

Après ski Stelvio

In correlation with its location on the slope and the manageable size, Stelvio is perfectly suitable for prime relaxation and quiet after a long day's skiing. The hotel restaurants around the Ortisei church invite you in to try hearty dishes and cosy get-togethers. Those who like to keep their travel time short can visit the Tibet Hut. The elegant Tibetan rotunda is enthroned up on the Stelvio Pass and serves Italian cuisine along with a unique panoramic view.

Snowpark: Stelvio

The snow park in the ski area of Solda draws in freestyle fans with diverse boxes, rails and kickers. Additionally, there is a permanent boardercross run out in the free-ski area near the Madritsch hut.
