Location

The modern 4-star Aktiv & family hotel Adlernest is situated approx. 2.3 km from the centre of Vernagt. Access to the ski area is via the “Funivia Ghiacciai” lift, which is about 10 km away. Cross-country skiing is available on the network of trails approx. 9.5 km away. You can also enjoy sporting activities on the toboggan run, which is approx. 9.5 km from the hotel. Ski buses stop approx. 50 m away. The nearest shops are right next to the house.

Facilities

Facilities at this comfortable hotel include a reception, Wi-Fi, a lounge, a lift, a breakfast room, the hotel’s own restaurant and a bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski cellar. On site, there are parking spaces and a charging point for electric vehicles (for a fee) – subject to availability.

Spa

The spa area, complete with an indoor pool, is the perfect place to unwind. Here you’ll also find a Tyrolean log cabin sauna, a Finnish sauna, a hot tub, a mountain pine bath, a hay bath, an aromatic steam bath and an infrared cabin. You can also relax in the relaxation room.

Children

The hotel is ideal for families: for all children aged between 3 and 12, a fantastic programme of activities is on offer in the kids’ clubs six days a week (exact times as per information provided on site), including Bavarian curling, crafts, biscuit baking, a children’s disco and much more. There is also a large children’s playroom with a small climbing wall, table tennis, kicker, darts and a games console, as well as a playground. There is also a pick-up service for children from the ski school, followed by lunch and childcare (see information on site). A small petting zoo with sheep, chickens and goats rounds off the facilities on offer.

On request, parents with young children can receive a baby pack containing a changing mat, kettle, baby bath, bottle warmer, high chair and cot (subject to availability). High chairs and cots are included (on request/subject to availability).

Entertainment

For sporting activities, there is a fitness area and a yoga room offering a programme of classes (see information on site). You can also take part in the extensive programme of activities, including guided walks, a guided tour of Karthaus Abbey, Bavarian curling, a BBQ, a Törggele evening and much more (see notice on site). Sledge hire is also available – subject to availability.

Board

When booking rooms with the ‘Half-board PLUS’ board plan, meals include a generous breakfast buffet. At lunchtime, a complimentary buffet is available for children, whilst adults can order dishes from the bistro menu for an additional charge. Afternoon refreshments include a snack featuring regional produce. In the evening, you’ll be served a daily-changing set menu. Special dietary cuisine, including lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives, are also available on request.

In addition, childcare is provided in a separate children’s dining room during lunch and dinner (for children aged 3 and over; further information available on site).
