Ski area Meiringen-Hasliberg
You can devote yourself entirely to enjoying the snow on the predominantly intermediate pistes. The pistes in the upper part of the ski area are particularly steep, where you will also find the most difficult descent, the "Nordpol" (1.5 km). The former World Cup descent from Planplatten awaits you with a difference in altitude of around 540 metres! The longest descent also has the longest name. With a length of approx. 10 km, the Glogghüs-Hohsträss-Käserstatt-Balisalp-Hohfluh panoramic descent offers top-class skiing fun.
The Mägisalp with its great deep snow areas is just waiting to be explored by you! Freeriders will also find the best conditions at Gummenalp, Hochsträss or Glogghüs. In the children's ski paradise "Skihäsliland", young winter sports fans will find a child-friendly learning area with an adventure playground and igloo village.
Night skiing Meiringen-Hasliberg
There are numerous ski areas in Switzerland where you can also ski at night. In the Meiringen-Hasliberg night skiing area, extensive night skiing is possible every Friday from mid-January to mid-March. The 4.5 kilometre long, floodlit "Mägisalp-Reuti" piste is then open until 22:00. The lift runs from Meiringen to the Hasliberg Reuti mountain station at 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00. If you need a bite to eat in between or after a night of skiing, you can stop off at the Mägisalp mountain restaurant. The last descent of the lifts from Mägisalp is at 23:00. Holders of a multi-day lift pass for the ski area can also use it for night skiing. Otherwise, evening tickets can be purchased on site.Après ski Meiringen-Hasliberg
For a change from skiing, you can take a sledge down the family-friendly Mägisalp-Bidmi toboggan run (see information on site). Afterwards, you can enjoy a fondue or raclette meal at the "Berghaus Käserstatt". You can also enjoy numerous activities such as snowshoeing, paragliding or ice skating. A visit to the climbing hall, tennis centre or local indoor pool rounds off the sporting activities on offer. A visit to the Sherlock Holmes Museum could be particularly exciting for crime fans.
Snowpark Meiringen-Hasliberg: Junior Snowpark Mägisalp/Audi Skicross Park
The Meiringen-Hasliberg lifts offer young and old freestyle fans several areas to let off steam. To experience the freestyle adventure, it doesn't matter whether you are at the very beginning of your career or already an expert.
The "Skihäsliland" offers the youngest a safe and playful approach to the various obstacles of skiing and is just waiting to be discovered by you. In the Junior Park between Hääggen and Mägisalp, you can test your skills on some easy rails and kickers for beginners and families.
More experienced skiers, on the other hand, will get their money's worth in the Audi Skicross Park Grindelwald. Here, four people can take on the various banked turns, jumps, waves and hollows at the same time, making for a truly exciting descent. The park's own rules significantly reduce the risk of accidents, so you can take a few jumps with confidence. In addition to the skicross park, there is also the "White Elements" snow park in Grindelwald. The park is divided into a beginner area and an advanced area so that everyone gets their money's worth. Both areas have several boxes, rails, jibs and kickers.
There is also another ski cross park near Meiringen in the Erzegg area in Melchsee-Frutt. This can be reached by car in around an hour. There is also a freestyle park along the Erzegg ski slope, which is suitable for both beginners and advanced riders thanks to its division into three different areas. Sounds good? We think so too.
