Ski area Parsenn (Davos Klosters)

The Davos Klosters Mountains lift pass gives you access to around 270 kilometres of slopes (including ski routes) in the five ski areas of Parsenn, Jakobshorn, Madrisa, Rinerhorn and Pischa. At an altitude of between 810 and 2,844 metres, slopes of varying degrees of difficulty and 50 lifts ensure plenty of variety. Added to this is the particularly high snow reliability, so that snow fun can be enjoyed from November to April!

Parsenn is the largest and most traditional ski area in the ski association. It can be reached from Davos with the Parsennbahn and from Klosters with the Gotschnabahn. The Parsenn descent from Weissfluhjoch down to Küblis is a legend in the Alps, a 12 km nostalgic run and one of the longest slopes in Europe! For all early risers, the Parsenn ski area offers the opportunity to be one of the first to leave your tracks in the untouched, freshly groomed snow in the morning, before the official opening, and experience the sunrise! Wide and long ski slopes, sporty descents, stylish mountain huts and a great panorama make Parsenn an absolute experience!

From Davos, the comfortable cable car also takes you to the Jakobshorn ski area. Freestylers have been at home here since the 1980s, and the superpipe at Bolgen is also very popular with snowboarders. National and international competitions are held regularly in the fun parks. The "1k Vertical" downhill run with a vertical drop of 1,000 metres enriches the impressive ski area and leads from the Jakobshorn mountain station via the valley station of the "Usser Isch" chairlift directly to Davos Platz. Those who love après-ski and events will also feel at home here. At Bolgen, at the foot of the Jakobshorn, little ones can discover the fascination of skiing in the children's ski school with its kids' course.

Klosters' local mountain – Madrisa – is a magnet for families with children and leisure skiers. In the children's snow parks of Madrisa Land and Madrisa Park Klosters, little ones can gain their first experiences in the practice area. What makes Madrisa special is that barrier-free skiing is also possible here, as the ski resort specialises in catering for people with disabilities.

Rinerhorn is particularly popular with families and beginner skiers. You can learn and improve your technique on the easy slopes and in the practice area. But there are also deep snow opportunities and a black run at Leidbachtal for freeriders. On some evenings, you can also try out the 3.5-kilometre-long illuminated toboggan run at Rinerhorn or ski down the floodlit ski slope into the valley.

Pischa does not offer groomed slopes, but all the more secure deep snow fun – unique in the Alps. The unspoilt mountain away from the crowds is perfect for alternative winter sports and invites you to consciously experience the nature of the Alps. Snowshoeing, ski touring on the Pischahorn or freeriding – the choice is yours!

In the Davos Klosters Mountains ski region, there are around 20 Wi-Fi hotspots available in mountain restaurants and other catering establishments.

Night skiing Parsenn (Davos Klosters)

There are a few places in Switzerland where you can still go skiing at night. The Davos Klosters ski area is one such night ski area. In Davos, the piste on the Rinerhorn is floodlit for night skiing every Wednesday and Friday between 19:00 and 22:30. Night tobogganing is also possible every Wednesday and Friday from 19:00 to 22:30 on the spectacular toboggan run. Another piste for night skiing is located at the Selfrange ski lift in Klosters, which is open to skiers and snowboarders on Tuesdays between 19:00 and 21:00 and on Fridays between 19:30 and 21:30. In addition to night skiing, Nordic sports enthusiasts can also enjoy cross-country skiing at night. A 2.5 km cross-country trail in Davos is floodlit from 18:30 to 20:30 from Monday to Friday. On the approximately 3.2 km cross-country trail in Klosters, cross-country skiers also have the opportunity to enjoy night-time cross-country skiing every Tuesday and Thursday until 20:30. And best of all: cross-country skiing is free of charge throughout the region.

Après ski Parsenn (Davos Klosters)

In keeping with the motto "from the piste - to the piste", you can experience après ski and party fun in Davos whenever and wherever you want! Many sun terraces and snow bars in the ski area invite you to party and a large selection of discos, nightclubs, bars and pubs in the valley offer the ideal basis for sociable evenings and an exuberant atmosphere. For example, visit the popular party venue "Bolgen Plaza" at the foot of the Jakobshorn or the trendy "Parsenn Gada" right by the valley station of the Parsenn cable car.

Away from the pistes, there are also plenty of opportunities to spend the day as varied as possible: for example in the "Eau-là-là" adventure bath with spa area, the Färbi sports hall with climbing wall, tennis and squash courts, 156 km of winter hiking trails, toboggan runs, paragliding, an indoor riding arena, horse-drawn sleigh rides and much more.

If you prefer to experience a bit of culture, there are also various museums such as the Winter Sports Museum and a variety of restaurants with local and international specialities as well as a beautiful shopping promenade.

Snowpark Parsenn (Davos Klosters): JatzPark

The Jakobshorn has been a freestyle mecca since the late 1980s, with the "Bolgenschanze", for example, being opened as a snowboard hotel in 1993. But the snow park and the SuperPipe are the real stars at Jakobshorn. The "JatzPark" is located right next to the "Jatz Junior" lifts and offers everything a freestyler's heart desires. At an altitude of 2,300 metres, the park offers three different lines: medium jib, medium slopestyle and pro slopestyle. Different kickers, such as the 18 m Big Air, Wallride Spine, Traktor Tire Bonk or rails in designs such as the Elbowrail or the 6 m Straight Pipeline - in the "JatzPark", everyone can give free rein to their creativity and take their tricks to the next level.

If you feel like partying after a perfect freestyle day full of adrenaline, it's best to head straight to the "Jatzhütte", which boasts a hot tub and sun terrace and regularly hosts international DJs so that you can round off your successful day in style to the finest tunes.

The special highlight on Jakobshorn is the 120-metre-long SuperPipe. It is located on the Bolgen in the Davos valley. The pipe can also be used for training several times a week in the evening thanks to floodlighting. Regular maintenance ensures that the half-pipe is always perfectly groomed.

In addition to the freestyle paradise on Jakobshorn, there is also a small snow park on the Rinerhorn and one on the Selfrangalift as well as ski and boardercross trails on Parsenn and Madrisa. So if you're looking for decent freestyle fun, Davos-Klosters is the place to be.
